Let’s network!
We are all busy right? But at the same time we want to make a real difference.
If you are passionate and would like to help us make a difference, check out the ways you can get involved below. Wild.NG is a volunteer project, led by local people, for local people. There’s no pressure to commit longterm and you can shape your involvement in your own way. Our invitation extends across our community , including local residents, families, businesses, schools, groups and projects.
Why not give it a go? You will meet new people and by helping local nature, we are sure your involvement will not only improve natures health, but also the wellbeing of our community too.
The Drivers
The core team of local people, debating, curating and shaping ideas and plans for wild.NG. They are also the organisers, fundraisers and producers!
A creative team full of passion and drive. We often have spaces so please get in touch to get involved.
You can join for a short or longer period of time, to best suit your availability.
The Champions
We are seeking individuals, organisations, projects and residential groups who would like to help champion wild.NG projects. This could be to help deliver a short term idea such as a local street initiative, or it could be an area wide project to help make and install nest boxes, or it could be to champion a network of new hedgehog highways!
Passion is all that is required.
All ages invited.
The Volunteers
Register your interest in helping us fulfil a project! This could be to volunteer to improve a space for nature, help us with our campaigns, be a communicator (a wild gossip) or do some data crunching.
There are so many ways to get involved.
Keep in touch by joining our mailing list and take your pick, when the time suits you. Register as an individual, group, business or project!
The Advisors
We want our project to be a success, and to do this we aim to create a network of passionate advisors! A bunch of experienced folk we can call upon for inspiration, knowledge and expertise. Could this be you?
You can advise us on nature conservation, health and wellbeing, community engagement, project development, urban planning, wildlife planting, communications and much more.
You can also help our project by making a small donation. 100% of your support will go directly to helping our volunteer led project and helping our local wildlife. £5 could help us build a bat box, £10 could cover the costs of us hosting a local free event. However small your donation is greatly welcomed.
Thank you!
